Special installations by Miami artists, including Leyden Rodriquez-Casanova, Kerry Phillips, Matt Schreiber and Tom Scicluna along with selections from Miami Art Museum’s growing permanent collection and key loans from local collectors, use tricks of light, perspective, erasure, and other means to evoke a sense of impermanence and uncertainty.

The history, culture and folk life of South Florida and the Caribbean are the focus of the Historical Museum of Southern Florida. Permanent exhibition explores 12,000 years of South Florida history, including a re-creation of the 2,000 year-old Miami Circle. Visit the Research Center with over a million historic photographs, and the museum store, with an array of Florida-themed books and gifts. Admission for adults is $8, children (ages 6-12) is $5, museum members and children under 6 are free. Free Second Saturdays and Contribution Sundays. |

The 5th annual Creative Visions Student Exhibit

The Peacock Rehearsal Studio of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, presents the 5th annual Creative Visions Student Exhibit. In its fifth year it gives elementary, middle and high school student artists the opportunity to put their work on display for week-long exhibits at the Center.
